Libby grew up in Webster City, IA and fell in love with physical therapy when she was treated as a patient after tearing her ACL in April of 2002. Libby followed her dreams of becoming a therapist by first attended Iowa State University where she received her undergraduate degree in kinesiology with a minor in psychology in May of 2009. She then attended Des Moines University where she obtained her doctoral in physical therapy degree in May of 2013. After graduating from physical therapy school, she returned to her hometown and worked at the VanDiest Medical Center for a year before moving to Pocahontas. She currently works at the Pocahontas Community Hospital as a therapist treating outpatients, inpatients and providing home health care.
