Meet Brooke

Brooke Nielsen

MS, OTR/L

Brooke graduated from Northwestern College in 2007 and continued on to receive her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2009. Brooke has been employed by Sports Rehab since 2012 providing services in our outpatient clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and home health settings working with all ages from pediatrics to the elderly. She has completed further training in the Graston Technique, Myokinesthetic System (MYK), and is a certified clinician for I-limb ultra, I-limb ultra revolution and I-limb digits upper limb prosthetics. She enjoys working in rural areas as every day is new and exciting, ranging from therapeutic play with a young child, to helping an elderly individual reclaim independence with daily living skills or working to regain hand function following an injury or surgery. When not at work, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, camping, reading, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
