Dave Kofmehl

Dave Kofmehl has been with Sports Rehab since 1997. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in General Science from the University of Northern Iowa in 1982; and his Physical Therapy Certification from the University of Iowa in 1984. Following this he completed an Advanced Master’s Degree with emphasis in Cardiopulmonary Therapeutics in 1988, again from the University of Iowa. He has worked in both large metropolitan and small rural hospitals in several states, serving as the Department Director of Physical therapy or Rehab Services for 25 of the past 31 years. He has also worked in schools, nursing homes, public and home health, and in industrial settings. He and his wife Laurie, who is an occupational therapist, have three grown children and they currently reside in Storm Lake. His primary practice at this point is in outpatient orthopedics and hospital based acute/swing bed care.
