Kayla graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College in 2003 with an Associates degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She joined the Sports Rehab team following graduation in 2003 as well. Currently works at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove in outpatient, inpatient and home health care. She enjoys the wide variety of patient care in this setting; able to travel and get out of the office with the home health care aspect and gets the best of both worlds in the outpatient setting and with the acute/skilled inpatient care. Lymphedema certified since 2009. Takes interest in wound care as we typically have a few patients on caseload at all times with either acute or chronic wounds. Other areas of interest include manual techniques on various diagnoses and rehab post orthopaedic procedures.
